Mariners’ House is reserved exclusively for men and women who work at sea, including but not limited to merchant mariners, afloat military personnel, maritime institution affiliates, and other professional seafarers and their families.

Mariners House offers a variety of rooms, including full and queen rooms and suites. Group rates are also available - please contact the Inn for details.

Common Rooms

The Galley
Serving Mariners hot meals since 1847. Guests are provided a full breakfast with their stay. Breakfast for visitors not staying at the House is $10.

• Lunch and Dinner available for special eligible conferences for negotiated rate at time of chapel reservation.
• Lunch and Dinner available on special request by guests and for ship crews at the negotiated rate.
• All non-guests must show proof of seagoing service affiliation in order to dine at Mariners House.

Swap sea stories, read the newspaper, play chess, or quietly reflect while overlooking Boston’s North Square.

Chapel
A multipurpose room for individual use or group reservations. The Chapel is equipped with desks, WiFi, presentation display and a printing station to support your professional needs. Study for your next CG exam or reserve for your next meeting.

PLEASE NOTE: Rates listed are SINGLE Occupancy. Extra occupants: $30 per room per day.

Room Types and Rates:

Full: Approximately 150 sq. feet with a full size bed, looking back out onto the courtyard. $75

Queen: Approximately 200 sq. feet with a queen size bed, overlooking the courtyard. $115

Queen Deluxe: Approximately 250 sq. feet of living space, with either a sleeping sofa or space for a rollaway cot. Faces onto North Square. $130

Queen Suite: 300 sq. feet of space, including a queen bed and sleeping sofa, with a preferred view of North Square. Ask about handicap accessibility. $145
